During your initial consultation, we will assess your skin and acne type to recommend a course of treatment, or perhaps a combination of treatments.
Heavy congestion such as many blackheads and “whiteheads”, and is heavily cystic may benefit from treatment with a Medi-Facial Peel and LED therapy prior to Spectra Peel laser treatment. Lesser congestion may benefit by treating directly with Spectra Peel laser therapy. Treatment for acne may also extend to acne scarring treatment.

Medi-Facial Peels & LED Therapy
The best pre-treatment for severe cases of acne.
Medi-facials (based on chemical peels) and LED therapy combine to eliminate bacteria that trigger inflammation. This approach also reduces the size of your pores, stabilises oil production and stimulates the growth of healthy cells.
You will see visible results as your troublesome breakouts, congestion and blackheads will clear, improving your overall appearance.
DMK Facial

Chemical Peel
Medical Grade Chemical Peels use an enzymatic solution to improve and smooth the texture of the skin by removing its damaged outer layers. Doing so helps to reduce acne caused by blocked pores meanwhile smoothing the texture and therefore appearance of the skin. With varying strengths of peel, there is something for almost all skin types.
Spectra Peel
Spectra Peel is a highly effective laser acne treatment and virtually painless. Its action is two-pronged.
First, it works on your acne deep in that important layer of skin known as the dermis, promoting cell regeneration and reducing inflammation. Then it treats the active acne on the surface by gently eliminating dead skin cells, clearing plugged pores, shrinking oil-producing glands and stimulating new skin growth.
You will likely need to start with six Spectra Peel sessions and then visit us two or three times a year for maintenance sessions.
Steroid Injections/Prescriptions
Cortisone injections use highly concentrated cortisone (a hormone naturally produced by the body) to immediately reduce redness and inflammation providing long-lasting results. Although cortisone is a steroid, it is not an anabolic steroid, the type used to increase strength and muscle size with often harmful side effects.
PRP & Factor 4
PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) skin treatment is a natural therapy utilising your body’s own blood to promote skin healing. The natural chemicals in PRP generated from your own blood are applied to the face and micro-needled into the skin during a short procedure. Using the healing effects of your body’s own plasma and the essential chemicals provided in the PRP formula allows accelerated promotion of skin rejuvenation, tightening and smoothing where you want it most.
Factor 4 is also available as an advanced version of PRP. With longer processing time of your blood, the concentration of growth factors is 4 times that present in PRP and therefore provides more fuel for skin rejuvenation and healing.
