True Skin Team Attends NSS 2026: Bringing the Latest in Aesthetic Medicine Back to Our Patients

Last week, the True Skin team attended the Non-Surgical Symposium 2026 at the ICC Sydney, one of Australasia’s leading educational events for non-surgical aesthetics.

The conference brought together doctors, nurses, dermal clinicians, industry leaders and educators to discuss the latest developments in skin health, injectables, laser and energy-based devices, patient safety, clinical standards and evidence-based cosmetic medicine.

For the True Skin team, NSS was a valuable opportunity to step away from day-to-day practice, reconnect with colleagues in the industry, and continue developing our knowledge so we can provide patients with safe, considered and up-to-date treatment options.

Some of the key themes we took away included:

1. Patient safety remains central to everything
A major focus of the conference was the importance of safe practice, appropriate patient selection, informed consent, realistic expectations and ethical treatment planning. Cosmetic medicine continues to evolve, but good clinical judgement remains the foundation.

2. Skin quality is just as important as structure
There was strong emphasis on treating the skin as a whole, not just focusing on individual lines or volume loss. Skin barrier health, pigmentation, redness, texture, hydration and long-term skin maintenance were recurring themes throughout the program.

3. Natural results continue to lead the way
The industry continues to move away from overdone results and toward subtle, refreshed and individualised outcomes. The aim is not to change how someone looks, but to help them look healthier, fresher and more confident.

4. Technology is advancing rapidly
Updates in laser, energy-based devices and regenerative skin treatments highlighted how technology can support collagen stimulation, skin tightening, pigmentation management and overall skin rejuvenation when used appropriately.

5. Ongoing education matters
Aesthetic medicine is a fast-moving field. Attending events like NSS allows our team to keep learning, refine our approach, review emerging evidence, and bring that knowledge back into our consultations and treatment planning.

We are proud of the True Skin team for continuing to invest in education, safety and high-quality patient care. Conferences like NSS are a reminder that great cosmetic outcomes come from a combination of science, skill, ethics and ongoing learning.

We look forward to applying what we learnt and continuing to support our patients with thoughtful, evidence-based skin and aesthetic treatments.
