Meet Our Team
Dr Anthony Yap
Medical Director, Cosmetic Physician
MBBS(Hons)UNSW, B.Sc (Med), FRACGP, Cert. Aesth.
Since 2007, Dr Yap has practised cosmetic medicine with a focus on advanced clinical development from reputable companies, including Allergan, Galderma, Merz, Cutera and Lutronic. His priority is client safety with a high standard of quality for treatments, equipment, products and protocols within True Skin.
Founding True Skin in 2010, Dr Yap is fully qualified with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners with a sub-specialty in skin cancer medicine. He is also an accredited supervisor and teacher for postgraduate doctors. His extensive experience as an advanced injector in anti-wrinkle treatments and dermal fillers has helped many clients achieve a beautifully balanced and rejuvenated appearance.
Yiwen (Emily) Li
Practice Manager, Registered Nurse
Our dedicated and patient-focused registered nurse since 2016, with holistic nursing care experience. Emily loves to provide multifaceted healthcare and cosmetic speciality-registered advice to diverse groups of patients. She has extensive clinical and theatre experience as well as expertise in administering treatment in clean and sterilised environments.
She specialises in mesotherapy, pigmentation, scarring/acne, IV infusion therapy and anti-wrinkle treatments. It is Emily's mission to share her knowledge and expertise in medical cosmetology with her patients to drive positive influence in self-care, self-confidence and general wellbeing.
Emily is fluent in both English and Mandarin.
Dr Chris Goon
Medical Director
Dr Goon is an Australian-trained medical doctor with 20 years of clinical and research experience. His passion for aesthetic medicine stems from the positive benefits it can offer to those looking for non-surgical options to improve or rejuvenate their appearance and the rapid advancement in technology to deliver these outcomes.
Realising that these treatments are just the beginning of hopefully a lifelong doctor-patient relationship, he prioritises patient education and ensuring patient goals are met with each treatment in the short term and over the longer term.
Mimi Le
Registered Nurse
Mimi is a registered nurse since 2007 and a midwife since 2009. Currently practising in NSW Health. Mimi joined True Skin part-time in 2018 to further her passion for skincare and beauty. Her goal is to bring out inner beauty and natural confidence in people.
Treatments she loves to administer are laser pigmentation, anti-wrinkle injections and Intensif RF.
Mimi is fluent in both English and Vietnamese.
Lydia Choi
Registered Nurse
Lydia is a registered nurse with a passion for enhancing natural beauty through effective skincare and aesthetic treatments.
Since becoming a registered nurse in 2022, she has honed her skills and deepened her interest in aesthetics, joining the team at True Skin Clinic in 2023.
She specialises in a range of treatments that promote healthy, glowing skin and rejuvenate the complexion.
Her favourite treatments include dermal skin boosters, Xeomin injections, laser treatments, and IV infusions, all of which allow her to deliver personalized care tailored to each client’s unique needs.
She is committed to helping clients feel their best by enhancing their natural beauty through innovative and safe aesthetic solutions.
Lydia is fluent in both English and Korean.
Kim
Front Desk
Kim joined our team as a Receptionist and is dedicated to ensuring every client feels well looked after and cared for from the moment they arrive. She takes pride in creating a warm, welcoming environment and strives to make each visit a smooth and comfortable experience.
Kim is passionate about continuously learning new skills, especially within the cosmetic industry, so she can provide the highest level of service and support to every client.

Geegie joined our team as a Receptionist and is passionate about helping clients achieve their beauty goals. She takes pride in creating a welcoming and supportive environment for everyone who visits. Geegie ensures every client feels comfortable and valued during their experience.
Geegie is fluent in both English and Thai.
Elaine Alhage
Registered Nurse
Elaine is a Registered Nurse (since 2021) who completed her Graduate Certificate in Cosmetic Nursing in 2023. She is passionate about delivering safe, personalised treatments that enhance natural features.
She also works at our sister company Key Health, continuing to provide high-quality patient care. Elaine particularly enjoys performing injectables such as anti-wrinkle treatments and skin boosters.
