At True Skin we want you to achieve the best results. So here are a few tips to help you decide what is best for you.

Anti-wrinkle injections is mainly used to treat the upper 1/3 of the face, but can be also used on the lower half of the face. It contains purified bacteria that relaxes the muscles and prevents the formation of fine lines and wrinkles caused by facial expressions. They only work on wrinkles that are caused by facial muscle movement, these are often called “expression lines.” These lines are usually caused by smiling, frowning, squinting and other facial expressions.
When anti-wrinkle injections is injected into the muscles, it temporarily relaxes the nerve signals. These muscles in the face that are targeted, the winkles will then be softened, reduced or even disappear (temporarily). Treatment usually takes an average of 15-30mins and results can last up to 3-4 months. And have no down time.
Most common areas for anti-wrinkle injections to be used on are:
• Shape and lift brow
• Improve frown lines
• Diminish crow’s feet
• Can also be used for excessive sweating and migraines (please contact your GP to see if these options are right for you)

Dermal fillers contains ingredients (usually hyaluronic acid) that add fullness and plumpness to the skin areas of the face that have thinned out due to aging. They are designed to be injected underneath the skins surface to add volume and fullness.
There are different types of Dermal fillers that are designed for different parts of the face being treated due to aging.
Most common areas are the lips, cheeks and around the mouth. These areas are called Static wrinkles, which are usually due to loss of collagen and elasticity of the skin. Treatment usually takes an average 15-30mins (depending on the area treated) and has no down time (minimal bruising may infrequently occur). Results may last an average of 12 months or more depending on the area/product. However it may stimulate some restoration which can exceed the expected timeframe.
Most common uses for Dermal fillers are:
• Improve dark circles
• Reshape Jowl line
• Restore volume and plumpness to lips
• Reduce deeper facial lines
• Correct nose shape
• Enhance plumpness in cheeks
